Anybody seen pawn stars on the history channel yet, what a show and very funny. The guys and the Old Man making the previews of the show stand in one spot with their arms crossed to look cool. The Christmas preview is all the guys were dressed in black with their arms crossed and the youngest guy in a green elf suit and he’s trying to cross his arms like the others but can’t because the suits too tight lol. Some of the things they get brought in are very valuable and rare like this old blunderbuss that was used by the English navy and it still worked. It was in such good shape and rare it belonged in a museum and it showed them test firing it. Its pretty neat the things people own and bring into pawn. Tune it in once and watch it, its a pretty cool show.

yeah i’ve seen it before. its a pretty good show and i love when the experts tell somebody how much their item is worth and then they tell the guy thats how much they want.
December 25, 2009 at 9:08 pm #826572It is set to record on my DVR every week. I usually don’t get into many shows, but I love pawn stars.
December 26, 2009 at 12:11 am #826619It’s hilarious. I love how Cumly always has to try out everything that could kill him. Like the Old Man says, “He is the village idiot.” Yesterday was a marathon on history.
December 26, 2009 at 12:45 am #826626I like that show too. But what does the Old Man do besides count money and flip Big Haus and Chumly some hard times?
December 26, 2009 at 12:52 am #826630It is a bit like Antiques Road Show for men, good show.
For Comcast people, there are a few shows onDemand.
December 26, 2009 at 12:55 am #826632Had to work or Id been watching. Did you see the one where Chumly and Ricks son went to see the guy who had that hand operated kite para-sail and wanted to pawn it. They tried it out then gave the guy his loan money. Then Chumly was enjoying flying it himself, battling and trying to control it is more like it then he flew it into the highpower lines and it wrapped up around the insulaters on the top of the power pole 80′ off the ground in this park. They both had that puzzled distant look when that happened, then Chumly said I wonder how were going to get it down. Then they wanted their loan money back from the guy standing right there watching him fly it. Its one of the best shows I’ve seen in along time.
I seen the show but the old lady says he was test flying it when it flew into the powerpole, I Guess they had to end up buying it for 75$ and then figure a way to get it off the power pole, insulators and powerlines.December 26, 2009 at 1:03 am #826634Dan I think hes trying to teach them the pawn business. His son Rick owns 49% and thinks he owns 50 but the old man says he owns just 49. The old man 0wns 51% or the controlling share and thats a good thing. Theres the Old Man and thats his name. Then theres his son Rick and Big Hos is Ricks son. Chumly is Big hoss’s friend, a really cool reality show.
December 26, 2009 at 1:12 am #826637I enjoy the show. I like how the old amn tells it how it is. It reminds me of my wife’s grandma. No BS!
December 26, 2009 at 2:06 am #826647Both my wife and I enjoy the show, I like when he buys what looks like a piece of junk, like the Coke machine and barber chair, then takes it in to get fixed and it comes back like new!!!

December 26, 2009 at 5:17 am #826701My family and I watched for the first time during the marathon. Watched several episodes. I especially liked the one where they sent the old man’s car in for restoration and told him they sold it. Funny stuff

December 28, 2009 at 3:43 pm #827179I love it too!
What I really love is how they bring in their buddy experts and the doops just believe what they say it’s worth.. Like they aren’t paying off those dudes to run a lowball number or something! Let me think,, I have a WW1 pistol,, let me call my brother in law and have him tell the dude it’s worth $500 and I will give him and offer of #200 and see what he says.
Great show,, and has to be one of the most crooked business’ out there.
December 28, 2009 at 4:00 pm #827193I guess I really don’t look at the pawn business as being anything but a business. If you pawn something you will pay, pay, pay!! But, you know that going in. Nothing illegal or immoral about it IMO. If your credit is to the point you need a pawn shop, then ya they get you.
Now when they buy it’s up to you to know the value of what you are selling. Funny how everybody can find out what they are willing to pay for something but they don’t have a clue what something is worth when selling?
December 28, 2009 at 4:23 pm #827204It’s a good show. I’m simply blown away at what the “experts” says an item is worth and then Rick offers them 1/2 of that or less and they take it. Morons. If I felt it was worth something there is no way I’d sell for 1/2. I’d take the info I just learned and sell that item on E-Bay or somewhere else and get a much better price. Just my .02.
Love the show.

Does it make any more sense if you remember that the show is in Vegas? Cash is king, I want my money NOW, I will double it in minutes anyway.
