Anyone used the Salmo Suspended Sting, If so #9 0r #12. Are they worth the price. I’m late with the post as I just placed an order. Hope I guessed right.
One thing is that I had a question by email and they called me almost instantly by tele. I was shocked. The only vendor to come close to that lately was Wolverene. They replaced a ripped pair of boots by phone, sent the new before recieving the torn pair and no credit card #. Unheard of. Happy Holidays

They’re a lot like Rapala’s Husky Jerk but with a wider body profile towards the front end of the lure and the action, I think, has more of a distinct wobble to it than that of an HJ, especially at slower speeds (i.e. <1.5 mph). Where they’ve exceled in my boat most is when fishing late fall through the night using a “jerk and pause” presentation. Pricey, yes but in my opinion, they’re worth it because of what I explained above but also great color selection. This goes for Salmo, in general, and you’re right, their customer service is tough to beat.

    Cheers.

I have used these stings in the late fall like previous post mentioned….I agree the slow speeds are key also…I have had a bunch of northern destroy these baits in the fall and a few walleyes as well…I like these big baits in the late fall in searching for bigger fish.
