We have a local guy who is a very good fisherman and people watch him and follow him around so he leads them to the spot on the lake that is 100+ deep and they soon give up.

Hot topic with lots of good back and forth with the exception of calling the poster a whiner.

I did not specifically call this poster a whiner….my words were every year some is whining about the same topic.

    Sorry if I offended anyone!

I don’t think anyone is whining. I think that some people just have no common sense. Whether you are on the ice or in a boat you don’t need to pull up and fish in someones back pocket. Fish or no fish give people their space. My 8 yr old gives me the “what the h#LL is wrong with these people” look when someone pulls the boat up and fishes on top of us, so I no it is not to hard to figure out.

Oh, and it is even better when people fish right on top of you and they are loud and obnoxious. I don’t need to hear 2 f-bombs and 3 Mf’ers per sentence coming out of someones yapper. It makes me wish I had a box of grenades when this happens and there are kids with.

If someone moves in on you and it bothers you why not just say something to them. That sure sounds better than stewing about it and letting it ruin your day.

Now how close is to close? In a community hole 20′ may be good. On a wide open spot you better give me a little more room or I may mention it to you. You wont find me on a community hole to often.
