    IS IT TIME….????!!!!

    I THINK IT IS!!

Does anyone remember when the Packers gave up a last second TD yesterday to a team that lost 5 in a row?

I said to my wife “Ohhhhhh, I bet the bars in WI are pretty quiet right now!,, and the booze bottles soon to be empty!”

And no, we’re not jumping off the wagon. Like what was said above, can’t we criticize our team without most of you thinking we’re jumping off the wagon? My goodness! We have 3 losses, lotsa people hurt, and some not playing to their potential.

I expect more from this team and I’m critical. I didn’t say anything about not supporting them. You gotta love the “TRUE” Packer fans. You guys never criticize your team, you fondly love them, even when they lose to an inferior team(Tampa). I guess us Vikings fans are just not “real” fans after all.

Please keep your old, boring, beer soaked, re-used bandwagon junk where it belongs. Maybe you can come with the schedule arguement next time.

Hey, is there a “How to be a Packer fan for Dummies” book? Maybe we could learn something about being a true fan.

Taking your football to seriously can lead to heart attacks. You may want to look into a book on “how to let football go for dummies”. I am and will always be a TRUE PACKER FAN. I want nothing more than to see the Packes win whenever they play. I can also want to see other teams (Queens)win for my own reasons. Maybe my wife is from Prior lake and likes to see them win???? Maybe a Vikings super bowl would mean a HELL OF A LOT to my 74 year old father who’s happiness means very much to me (he may be a candidate for a football heart attack too)???? So I guess I’m just ab band wagon beer soaked nice person who enjoys seeing happiness from others and not just myself. Call it what you will. By the way have fun with the Jet’s OLD QB. We have our own we support!

WOW, you mean to tell us the Panthers were a superior Super Bowl contender that could just walk into the championship game??

We criticize the Packers when we think they need it….like yesterday when they ran that ridiculous “psycho” defense after it worked once and then got burned on it four or five times after. And why they are the most penalized team in the NFL. There are a number of other things to be critical about.

I would lend you my “How to be a Packer fan book for dummies” but there aren’t enough pictures in it for a Queens fan to comprehend what is being said.

See……..we can get nasty too!! You should try and remember that this is all in fun and, win or lose, after the games nothing in our lives changes from the outcome. The “rich” just get richer.

    P.S…………… FAVRE SUCKS

This is 100% ribbing on my part, it’s just the internet and pro football. I used the laughing icons, not sure what else to do.

I personally am placing all the blame for this loss on the O-line, specifically, McKinney.

Our defense just plain got worn out with the “O” going 3 and out all night.

I never thought this was our year, and after last night I don’t mind saying it publicly. We’re moving in the right direction, but we’re still not a complete threat yet.

I wonder if we could get Mike Tice back as a “O” line coach again. He always had a solid line.

I have no opinion here, Iowa still doesn’t have a pro football team.

It’s December and Favre is going to fall off like a prom dress. Plus he’s telling the coach when he is and isn’t going to play?? Good luck with all that.

let who go? Second time you used todays word, “bitter”
Used in a sentence: I’m still a bit bitter that Kooty got to go ice fishing and I didn’t.

Let Brett Favre go and quit telling us how bad he is, he is ours now…. Bitter…. to me it means, you only have negative thoughts. You have nothing constructive to say, but just need to point out your obvious angst at every opportunity. Yes, I am bitter about Kooty also… I had an invite to go to the pond and fish with some friends also… but chose to sit in a tree for 4 hours. They caught a bunch of nice eater eyes and I just got cold…

From a Brett Favre Packer fan, I am not bitter. I wish he was playing for the Packers, but he is in a better place. I am happy for the Vikings to have a great bunch of players around a great quarterback. I hope the Vikings and their fans enjoy Brett Favre as much as we did. The Packers will have to wait, I believe its the Vikings turn.

    Hey G,

Glad to hear you got into your tree again. Lota guys here say your out of your tree most the time!!

I think it would be great yucks if all of us went to a Vikings game in Lambeau as a group next year. Half Packer and half Viking fans in a group, arguing the whole game and drinking up a storm. We could even have our own little riot if we wanted. I just need to figure out if I’d want to sit next to you and Kooty, or as far away from you guys as I can!

not bitter. have lots of Viking fans coming up and asking me what is happening with Favre. Why is he not playing like he did earlier? go back over the last 5 years and look at his December and playoff record. it’s not great. this season with the Vikes is mirroring his season with the Jets. let’s see how he does in Chicago next weekend in thirty degree weather…

You see, I get the complete opposite reaction… I hear, whats with the Vikings ??? Nobody is singling out Favre… he is only as good as the team around him, as any QB is. The questions I get and have are, what happened to the Vikings running the ball ??? AP has been the bread and butter, but lately, they are constantly running him up the middle ??? Where did that come into play ??? Get him outside the tackles and around the corner and look out… seems they forgot, he has great cuts and speed and runs until 3 guys are hanging on him. Why they are constantly ramming him up the linemans butts, I don’t know ??? Then, when he makes the linebackers have to stay home, that opens up the underneath stuff that Favre can hit all day long…. I don’t know what Vike fans you are talking to, but I wonder if they watched the early games and can see a difference now. I see little difference in Favre and a HUGE difference in play calling. The Vikes have become 1 dimensional, which I can guarantee will not win many games, let alone a playoff or SB…

Yep, where did our running game go? Peterson has been one of those guys that needs to keep touching the ball and eventually he breaks one. Just doesn’t seem like they have the confidence in the run. Doesn’t take a football genius to realize that once a guy like Peppers gets to the QB a few times, you might want to keep a TE in to help, or chip him with the FB. Thought Chili or Bevel might have figured that one out eventually. Seems like a few teams have also figured our achilles heal on defense – if we can’t get to the QB, they can pick apart our secondary (even Matt Moore!). The whole team seemed to lack any fire in the losses to the Cards & Panters. Hopefully they can get some of this squared away before the playoffs. Regardless of what all GB Favre haters say, he is still a better option than Sage or T-Jack. Still drinking that grape juice and enjoying the season! At least one of my favorite teams won on Sunday.

I guess Bert is to good to take one for the team, as in get the heck off the field we need you next week too. Stick a fork in between his ears, and let the air out of his big head. But this is cool going into play-offs, —– Mutiny in Minn. Berts a headcase now

The Williams boys seem to have taken a step back, the O-line seems to have also. This has resulted in poor play from the skilled players. Compare to the Packers who lead the league in sacks but have only given up 1 per game for the last 4. It all starts up front….

And that is why I would put my money on the pack right now. They seem to be playing more consistent football over the last 6 weeks. Thankfully this week is over and we got an easy Chicago team.

Peterson should have a banner night in Chicago… and the defense will look like a Super Bowl defense also.

You guys keep talking about running the ball, and that is what the coach wants to do, but the savior likes to throw. The power struggle is getting interesting. The Queens better start pulling it together or Favre could “retire” before the season ends.

All is not well between Brad Childress and Brett Favre, and the primary difference centers on the quarterback’s penchant to check out of runs and into passes. According to one team member, Favre has expressed frustration for much of the season about Childress’ unwillingness to let him audible more.

Interviews with six members of the Vikings organization revealed that Brad Childress ripped his offense during halftime Sunday and that he privately unleashed an expletive-laden outburst toward Brett Favre long after the game in the visitors’ locker room.

    I agree 100%

This why TT and Mac said we are done and it is the best decision they had made so far.

I was a Favre fan untill the drama started and people, he is the one that started it. then I relized that one man does not make a team but Favre thinks it does and he is it.

Good luck with that and the bears outside this weekend.
Favre will show his age and ego after all of this in the news.

I for one is GLAD HE IS NO LONGER IN GREENBAY.

This looks just like Greenbays 13-3 season (his last year as a packer).
