Vikings disappointment!!! AGAIN!

Good lord, talk about uninspired once again. Those guys should be embarassed.

Taking bets GB goes further than the vikes in the playoffs this year.

They look like bums out there tonight.

Unreal!! I hope they get this crappy play out of the way before the playoffs start. I hope they dont go and loose the 2nd seed in the NFC.

Does anybody remember earlier this season, when they would run, run, run, run Peterson, then run, run, run Taylor and Peterson some more, to tire out a Defense ??? He didn’t break 60 yard runs every time, but did once in awhile….. seems now, if he isn’t running for 12 yards at a crack, they abondon it ??? Chili needs to come up with a gameplan, maybe look back about 10 weeks and stick to it. Favre is only as good as your running game, they are finding that out, he can’t do it himself, but seems they are all trying too. (would somebody let Frasier know, they should be double teaming Peppers) Oh well, there is always next week

Well put. When we are the agressor they have no issues. When they try to finesse they get in trouble. Line the RB’s behind a fullback and shove it down their throat…

This is not a Favre post….this is a post about how poor the Vikes played on the national stage….Not much any QB can do with Peppers running over our Offesive lineman every play…..Hey how about a draw play, or maybe more of the slants. They seem to work..

So was Favre being benched or “pulled to be rested”? Seems like an odd time to want to pull the savior, leading 7-6, still having a chance to get home field, and now if they lose one more game and Philly wins two the Queens will be playing on wild-card weekend. Seems like it would be more important to secure the 2nd seed to get the week off instead of resting during this game. I guess Chilly really has some confidence in the D that 7-6 was a secure score. Or maybe he just thought the Queens had a better chance to win with T-Jack!

Hold on to your money, the Packers aren’t any better than the Vikings. In case the Packers do get to the playoffs, it would only be one game and they’d be done.

I think the offence needs to learn how to run block again. With harv not feeling good that could be another big loss to,like E J. Agree you need to look back at last ten weeks and go with it. AS to the defence they look awsome, the offence needs to stay out on the field a little bit longer to let them rest 3 and out dont cut it, just my 2 cents. I DONT WANT THE EAGLES IN THE PLAYOFFS I THINK THE HAVE ARE #

Scratch Frasier and insert Bevell….. I was so mad when I typed it, I wanted to blame the D coach for the O Line issues with Peppers… I am curious as to how Favre December play caused this loss ??? Poor coaching… Favre is not a coach…. Vikings have become 1 dimensional again… better wake up fast

Don’t go blaming Bevell & Childress!! After all they are only coaches. I got crucified last year for ripping them.

Folks, relax, these are the vikings. Look at the history as it tells the same story every year. Our O line is terrible at run blocking this year, do we miss Birk that much?? This year our record is accomplished with smoke & mirrors. We beat exactly 2 teams with winning records, GBay & the bengals, and I hope we don’t see Gbay again. I would rather lose in the playoffs to anybody but the dang pack!!

BUT! If we can hang on to that 1st round bye we will be just fine! I think we have more injuries than what we know. Heard Harvin is headed to the Mayo this morning to address some neck issues (think that had something to do with the headaches??) and AP is not 100%. I know the line sucks as of late but the kid isn’t running like he did earlier in the season. The other thing could be that he’s so worried about a fumble that he’s not focused on just running hard.. For me, I’d rather have an AP that fumbles once a game but puts up 130 on the ground any day.. SOmething just ain’t right with some of our guys.

As an owner of Peterson for FFL, I was please w/ the game. He got a TD, 130 or so total yards and the Vikes need to play next week. Thanks to Big Ben TORCHING the GB Pretenders, I am playing for all the marbles!

Playing like they are even the dome won’t save them, considering who they have played this year and who beat them, it’s not only GB that will be one game and out.

They did do better than I thought they’d do so far, but considering what little I expected, that ain’t saying much.

I do agree the line needs to step up and protect Favre and AP needs the ball more. I know I’m younger than Favre and I would have been laid up for weeks after taking some of the hits he took last night. But then a good day’s exercising for me is reeling in 30 saugers and eye down at Everts. You guys can still make it but it’s gonna take more than last nights effort to get there.

I expect more from this team and I’m critical. I didn’t say anything about not supporting them. You gotta love the “TRUE” Packer fans. You guys never criticize your team, you fondly love them, even when they lose to an inferior team(Tampa). I guess us Vikings fans are just not “real” fans after all.

Please keep your old, boring, beer soaked, re-used bandwagon junk where it belongs. Maybe you can come with the schedule arguement next time.

It looks like the Minnesota Vikings are still the Minnesota Vikings, with or without Farte ooppss I mean Farve…..dang it… Favre!!!

They sure have an awful lot of work to do if they think they are going to go anywhere in the play-offs. That offensive line needs some work, where’s the protection? Farve couldnt even move the ball in the 3rd and 4th quarters until he decided to throw to a double covered reciever instead of 1 that was wide open

If at first your team sucks, try to divert the attention to the Packers. You don’t hear us Packer fans calling for the Super Bowl all year. I personally think the Packers are playing great football for what we have on our team. We still have a few pieces to address in the offseason and have the money and youth on our team to continue getting better. The Vikings have spent all of the money and are starting to fall apart. I just quietly laugh to myself at those of you who at the beginning of the season wouldn’t shut up about how Packer’s fans supposedly just wished we still had Favre instead of Rogers. Not the case then, and not the case now. Aaron Rogers is going to be an absolute stud in this league. Remember that he has a below average line, not much of a running game and has only been starting for his second season. so take your self loathing attitude and your rainbow flaming purple jerseys and go cry yourselves to sleep. There won’t be any Super Bowl trophies traveling to MN this year or anytime soon!
