check online depending on what time you can leave and arrive home will give you a break. I have found expedia to have the best online deals right now, I know Southwest has added flights to Vegas from MPLS but have found decent fares for Sun Country and Northwest as I am trying to plan/book a trip in March for me and the wife.

Already got the Hotel at a great price too that is why we are going.
December 16, 2009 at 4:45 pm #823842Might want to try Alegiant Air. They fly out of Rochester and go directly to vegas. I just checked it was about 200.00 a person. You are limited on the days and times you can leave, but it might be the cheapest? I checked and they have flights leaving on Feb 19 and coming back on the 22nd – not sure how the times work out, though.
Here’s their web site.

Sometimes they can be as cheap as $69.00/person.

You beat me to it I was going to ask the same question.
December 17, 2009 at 12:21 am #823985Alegiant Air was running a buy one get one free. The sale ended last Sunday. Their regular prices are still good.
paddie333Posts: 19December 17, 2009 at 4:24 am #824049We have flown Allegiant Air for years now. At the current price listings for March it will cost us about 200 dollars more this year, than it did last year on Allegiant. I checked on the computer for Fun Jet, and all they offered were package deals with hotel included.Since we are now considered rated players out there, are rooms and meals are comped to us anyway.Maybe I am not putting it in the computer properly. All we need is airfare only.I do not see anything for 99 dollars each way.
December 24, 2009 at 6:28 pm #826431Heads up for anyone who has airline tickets with Allegiant Airlines after Feb 15th, I got this email from my sister in law today. Thank god we did not get our tickets yet.

I just heard on the news (KTTC) that their last day of service is going to be Feb 15th. If you have tickets after that, they said Allegiant Airlines will be contacting you to make other arrangements.

December 24, 2009 at 8:08 pm #826446Steve – check out Sun Country Airlines . They fly charters out of the HHH terminal and you can find some good prices.
In fact, I’m in Las Vegas right now and our ticket were about $220 each. However, expect to pay about $100 more than that because you are flying during a peak time.
December 24, 2009 at 9:15 pm #826459I am not seeing anything cheaper than $320???? Where are you seeing $220?
We booked this week for 1/22-1/25!
paddie333Posts: 19December 24, 2009 at 11:47 pm #826481I appreciate your information on Allegiant Airlines, does that mean the entire airline is closing down? or is it just select cities they are dropping? Plan on flying out the third week of March out of Cedar Rapids. Any further information would be greatly appreciated.

Tom Petters appreciates the business!!!
December 28, 2009 at 8:20 pm #827277I’ll be booking our trip through Hotwire tonight. I’ve checked them all – Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity, etc. and all the airlines. Hotwire was the best at $255 – which includes 3 nights at the 4 Queens, flying Sun Country, Feb 14-17.
