killer catfish of the himalayas

    Bk or cat guys– did you catch the episdoe last night of the catfish in the himalayas?? Monster fish with chompers…the guy was swiming with pole in hand down stream with a 160lber in tow?? Is that offered with BK’s gift card?

    I saw it. I only catch cats by accident. These fish could put the hurt on you, especially if you like noodling.

    I watched that show last night on Discover, it was AMAZING. River Monsters is the show, the guy was catching monster Wels Catfish and a pile of other fish. Had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The guy built a big fire on the edge of the river to draw in a big man eating Gonk(sp) catfish, giant catfish with razor sharp teeth. The locals did this as a burial ritual and then sent the body into the river, this catfish then started to attach and eat the locals. CRAZY when the guy hooked into the fish only to loose it. Watching him swim across the river while fighting that fish was interesting too. This is a must see show

    I also saw the show. 160# catfish with teeth like a shark! Then to swim after it with rod in hand! I don’t think you would see me doing that!I believe that show is on every Mon. ??

    I caught parts of it last night. I believe it was a Goonch Catfish…Wicked looking fish. I think they are on a goonch catfish kick right now because I believe that the next episode of Hooked is on those things too.

    saw one last night where a huge cat in the amazon actually ate a person.. I agree sweet show..he caught a couple 80 lbers of various species before finally catching the man eating species. Pretty sweet show for sure.

    Here’s one of the Goonch he caught on the show. 160+ lbs He said it’s not the man eater, but after seeing the teeth… if he got ahold of your leg, not much chance you are getting it back after a little death roll I don’t think there are many Noodlers left in that neck of the woods!
