4×4 ?

    I have an 04 Trailblazer. It will only go into 4 wheel drive when I turn the knob to 4hi or lo then shut the car off and turn it back on.

    Does anyone have any idea what’s wrong?

    does it do it when the vehicle is warm and cold inside ?

    Most shops can scan the BCM -body controll module, and see if the 4×4 module is working.

    The switch is bad, had the same issue with the wife’s. I think the switch is like $70. Hers would also decided to switch on its own once in awhile.
