I am looking for the “old grub head ” mold.. because its a jig, I am having a hard time scanning it.. maybe I will get my kid to take a digital photo of one..

hold your arm straight out.. with your forearm up make a fist.. the jig head looks like your fist.. flat on top and the bottom and flat across the front.. and then tapers toward the back..

Sorry for piggy backing on your post…but anyone know where to get a 1/4 oz weedless casting jig (or bass bullet jig) mold? I’ve found one that does 3 sizes, but I would like to get one that does only 1/4 oz so I can pour more than one at a time.

we had a mild crisis here today, as the bunny was sick and had to go to the vet.. other wise my jig head photos would be done..and no, no one is pregnant,, not even the bunny, who has been fixed..

rotate your hand 180 degrees..the face of the jig are your fingers and the eye would come up in the middle of the back of your hand.. and where your wrist is, toward the arm is the hook..

no, thats Cabelas take off of the old Jiggler jig by Blue Herron.. and if anyone wants a real different action of a tube, find some old Jiggler heads..

My kid, take these photos this morning and I will have them TODAY…

notice how the 1/4 oz head comes right to the hook eye.. the 1/8 oz head, has a bigger gap..

Looks something similar to a older version of a slider head jig.I have a few from Charlie Brewer but are a bit different. As far as finding the exact mold on a independant jig mfg. LOL Thinking you will need to get a blank & make your own mold. Best of luck.

That jig looks like todays sparkie jig,but I see yours has 90 degree hook and the spakie has a 60 degree hook.. with a little modifacatiion you use the sparkie mold with a 90 degree hook. here is the mold # Sparkie Jig JKS-1080A

thanks for posting that pic.. its close but like you said, my jig has a 90 degree hook right in the middle..

oh and here is why.. this is a ROCK KILLER JIG.. it banjos right out of the rocks.. sometimes out of the water..

and if you fish a STING RAY GRUB.. for EARLY, EARLY SMALLIES, SPOTS OR LARGEMOUTHS.. its UNBEATABLE..
I mean FLOOD STAGE Blowing water.. and you have no clue what to throw.. HERE IT IS..

I have caught 100’s of spawning and early season smallies and largemouths on this head..

one day, I was telling Cade.. we caught 200 smallies without running the big motor, on this head.. on pool 8..

now not all fish were hawgs.. but we had them all to ourselves.. and we lost very very few jigs..

but you put a 4 inch worm on them.. or that sting ray style grub.. and you are in heaven..

the first time I ever, EVER USED THIS LURE.. third cast 3.14 smallie.. it like NO WATER.. I mean there was no way that fish was that shallow.. except that he was..

the north end of Logan Martin LAKE.. I was the third man in the boat.. two ultimate fishermen on that river part of the lake.. Eight consecutive casts.. EIGHT BASS and these guys were casting in front of me..

its a really good head.. and if I was desparate I wouldn’t be talking about it..
