Now your crossing into the “One hit wonder” area.
Acording to BK & Youtube they had alot more than one hit.
I’m not sure but whoever wrote “Tiny Bubbles”
My All time favorite.
It is fish cleaning music.
I’m waiting for someone to mention Tiny Tim and Tiptoe though the tulips….
Personally I enjoy a little Robin Trower and the Bridge of Sighs album when fishing..

AC/DC all the way…
You are spelling it wrong. You forgot the lightning bolt Man
I am sorry,, but even though the song is “great” in some people’s eyes, any group that predominatly displays the stars and bars, can’t be the Greatest…
why would you want a group that alienates one major group of people or peoples of this country?

this is the ultimate rock song with the ultimate guys playing the song.. enjoy…
I don’t know how to post the video here..
I almost forgot about Garry Glitter. He is really a fruit loop, but he had some great songs.Rock n Roll, Rock n Roll Part 2……..
There are a lot of old groups that may not have been mentioned here yet that were good.
Deep Purple
Grand Funk Railroad
Mountain
Blue Oyster Cult
Brownsville Station
Savoy Brown
Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show
Rod Stewart and Faces
Steve Winwood and Traffic
Sly and the Family Stone
Billy Preston
Rightious Brothers
Ike and Tina Turner
Mommas and the Pappas
There were a bunch more I was thinking of earlier, but can’t recall now.
Jefferson Airplane right off the Smothers Brothers!
Crank it up and wait for the OL to see what the heck is going on!

A guy could get stuck in this thread.
Well I was getting tired of the Coast Guard thread. Figured there was plenty of time to bash the Vikings and Packers. I never figured this thread would evolve into what it did.
You would live just as long if you wouldn’t have brought that up again!
Great post!
Might be time to bring up the official Ido Logic Rod Index (RI) again. New members and so many things have changed.
thanks for the airplane flashback, bk.
saw them in ’71. awesome, i think.
my favorites are from the ’60s and 70s – beatles, stones, who, doors, zeppelin, floyd …

Explains the sunglasses.
Does anybody else think that Stevie Nix from the Fleetwood Mac days had a sexy voice? Something about a couple of her songs just grabs my attention.

AC/DC’s album, Back in Black has sold an estimated 45 million units worldwide(and still counting), making it the highest-selling album by any band and the 2nd highest-selling album in history, behind “Thriller” by Michael Jackson.

Not sure about your info but a quick search contradicts your statements. However I see your source Wikipedia also contradicts itself and says you are correct. The difference is USA versus Worldwide sales so you are correct. Either way it is very impressive.
1976 The Eagles Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975) Asylum 29× platinum
1982 Michael Jackson Thriller Epic Records 29× platinum
1979 Pink Floyd The Wall Columbia/Capitol 23× platinum
1971 Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin IV Atlantic 23× platinum
1980 AC/DC Back in Black Atlantic 22× platinum
1998 Garth Brooks Double Live Capitol Nashville 21× platinum
1985 Billy Joel Greatest Hits Volume I & Volume II Columbia 21× platinum
1997 Shania Twain Come On Over Mercury Nashville 20× platinum
Not a mention of Three Dog Night.I belive they had more in the top 100 than anyone.
Speaking of top 100….Catfishing songs. Nothing beats this song on the ride home after a beautiful night of catfishing!!
Primus
The Doors
Janes Addiction
Rammstein
Godsmack
Metallica
…to name of few over the years.
Once I watched the entire main concert floor at a Rammstein concert strip naked and burn their clothes in giant indoor bonfires. I bet it made their subway ride home interesting (NYC).
Awe… the sweet incredibly blurry memories of my youth.
Anyway, you all will burn your cassettes and 8 tracks for these guys. They rule!!!

Makes for a chilly ride home from catfishing too.
Don’t ask me how I know.
Then Bk throws in a country song and ruined the whole thread.
Two words that should not be put in the same sentance COUNTRY.
And Music.Pardon me while I go upchuck.

Were you referring to BK burning his clothes in bonfire & going naked or his selection of C M. I guess just the thought of either.
I kinda was hoping that some one was going to show me how to post that video that I linked to.. now its a C&W battle..
some one please either gently explain to me how to do the video or post my link as one..
and lets stop the discussion of C&W.. I had a C&W greatest hits album once.. it was blank on both sides..
