I am not going to make this a long and sappy post. I have a 5 year old golden retriever that needs a good home. I have two kids now and this dog is no longer getting the attention/exercise that he needs. This dog needs a farm/or a family that will be able to run, or walk him EVERY day. Gentle with kids, a great dog, I will sincerely miss him. Great in larger boats fishing, will retrieve your cast out of a jon boat and there is no stopping him. Everything up to date, neutered. Should mention here that the dog is also gun shy. Please PM me if you are interested in this kind, loving, happy when he gets exercise dog. I live in Rochester, p4.

Wasn’t there somebody about 2 weeks ago that had his golden put down? Some folks want puppies. There are breed specific adoption org’s.Your Vet may also be some help.Good luck, hope you find a good home.

Google ”Golden Retriever adoption”If you don’t find home local some of these org’s are great. Our Labrador breeder is involved in the one for labs.If you can’t find a good home, they may ”foster home” the dog till good home is found. The last dog my wife and I found home for was already adopted,in less than a week!Unlike the pound this system is usually someone that loves the breed that knows someone.Know it’s a tough decision, but if you don’t have the time it’s the right one!Again good luck.

hey My parents are looking for a new dog. They have always had two dogs and at the moment our German shepherd has passed away. Leaving our black lab alone. They live on a dairy farm just north of Milwaukee. Has this dog always been inside a house or outside? They love dogs and he would get plenty of attention around the farm. Just a thought and would like more information. thanks
