    Dean was telling me about how his precision casting using the fairly new St Croix Extreme rods help Bucktail Wayne and him get into the money in today’s Turkey Combo contest.

    He was saying that he can cast his blade baits into a 2 inch area….and I called BS.

    Looking around, I spied a box of apples brought in by a guest of Everts and said…you should be able to hit one of those apples then. His reply was…no problem.

    I placed the apple on the counter and said…Have at it big guy.

    Dean didn’t like the apple on the counter.

    This is were my dare started to go a-rye.
