Transfering waypoints

    I want to transfer my waypoints from my lorance on my boat to my lorance handheld and need a MMC card to do this . I have checked almost all of the major retailers and were I bought the unit-no go. Please help.

    Yes both, they only carry SDcards. They say that the MMC cards are too old? Most of the places didn’t know what a MMC card was , Even Best Buy until I showed them.

    I have an MMC card – I think it’s only 16 M – in my Hummingbird side finder. If you can’t find an MMC card, I would trade it for an SD card – according to the manual the SD is faster and has more capacity.

    Have you checked ebay or Amazon? I bought a MMC/SD card for my phone at Verizon.

    I was in Wallmart the other day.

    The 8 meg cards were cheap…which has more than ample room for the data.

    The MMC card fits into most digital cameras.

    Forget the MMC card, SD card replaced it! Not sure if the unit will handle a 2-G card, A 256 or 512 is big enough….

    Those small cards are hard to come by. I use a 2 gig card and transfer the data to different units with out any trouble.
