I havent signed up for IDO hunting yet so ill share this here. Sunday mornings outing paid off soon after dawn an injured doe and 2 others strolled by. I quickly chose to supress the wounded doe and continue to hunt.

An hour later I spot movement paralleling the ridge, a deer…. A Buck…. A Shooter, He slowly drops down the ridge and can either turn towards me or the downed Doe.

The doe it is i find a lane ahead of him and wait and wait. several pauses later he steps clear and the fever hits. Could barely hold it on him, caught my breath squeezed and he dropped. I just downed my first buck with a gun and it was

When I reach him he is laying on the does blood trail less then 30 yards away from her. I am glad he stopped when he did.
Good Luck hunters and be safe
