I need to make about a 2-2 1/2 in hole in a concrete wall to run a piece of pvc pipe thru, the wall is about 8 in thick I have access to a hammer drill to get a small hole thru first but what are my options after that, want try and stay as neat and clean as possible.

Go to a construction equipment rental supply shop and rent a core drill.
Do it right the first time, rental will be minimal.
    Good luck

12 Guage, loaded with 7 shot. I’d say a muzzle distance of about 3.5′ with a full choke will get said diameter done. Remember, always wear safety glasses when using power tools!

renting a core drill is about the only clean, and easy way to do it. Should be fairly cheap also.
