I agree big G the Vikings have beaten no one so far this year. There big game to date against a big team ended in defeat against Pittsburg, unless you want to buy into the 4-4 Ravens victory which took a miracle to pull out or 3-5 San Fran. We all know how terrible the Packers are, I mean they cant even beat a winless team and they couldn’t protect Fort Knox. The rest of there victory’s are against teams with a combined 3-21 record. Oh well you cant choose who you play. I’m looking forward to watching the playoffs more than I have in a few years. It should be fun

Funny, I seem to remember prior to the first Viking Packer game this year. All you Packer guy’s were making the Pack out to be better then the great Pittsburg Teams, better then the Patriots, heck listening to you guy’s they should just cancel the season and proclaim the Packers world champions.

Now when everybody in the country see’s how putrid they really are…………now it’s the Vikings weak schedule.

    You Packer fanatics are priceless.

He who CROWS last crows hardest.

If the DA QUEENS don’t win it all.

Your season will be considered a FAILURE!!!!!!

I am just waiting to post in this thread until after the Super Bowl.

So… by your own admission Len, you have the Vikings in the Super Bowl ??? My definition of a failed season, is when you don’t have fun watching your team, when they lose to teams they shouldn’t, when they are under .500, when their fans are grumbling every monday.. so on and so on…I don’t believe a whole season can be a failure, just because you don’t win it all. I will say it can be disappointing, but a team that can have you excited to watch them, week in and week out, cannot be a failure. I do believe with my definition of a failed season, so far this year, I am describing this years Fudgepackers…. not the Vikings

Some good points there Big G. I agree that one game does not decide whether or not a season is a success, just like one interception doesn’t necesarily lose a game. By those standards, only one team per season is successful. I guess Brett only had one successful season in gb. I would also add that a successful season includes some great games against some of your fiercest rivals and giving your fans chances to thump their chests . At this point in the season, I’d say the VIKES are a success, regardless of how many Super Bowls we haven’t won, or how weak our opponents apparently are. I would cheer for the VIKES regardless, even if Les Steckel was the coach or Spurgeon Wynn (sp?) was the QB. Guys like Favre sure make it more exciting as a fan. Having him taking the snaps gives guys like Allen, Peterson, the Williams Wall, Winfield, etc. a better chance of getting a ring, and gives us fans something to get fired up about. Maybe Mr. Favre will throw a season ending pick, oh well, it is just a game. I’m just enjoying it while it lasts!
