The Vikes are 7-1, and your Packers are 4-4.

You might not think they are that good, but we’re better than anybody else in our division, and thats what will put us into the playoffs while you guys sit and wait for the house cleaning to get started.

Never said they werent good just said they have not been challenged. Man you guys are testy and a little sensetive. I am not blaming the Vikings for there schedule, they are a good team. They will be challenged, the fact remains they have yet to beat a good team. Take that to the bank and start collecting interest

The next three games won’t change anything for the Vikes. Home vs. Detroit, Seattle, Chicago. If we aren’t 10-1 come December then we’ve got problems.

Never said they sucked, they have beaten inferior teams and lost to the one good team they played. Dont need to smoke dope to see that. Sorry if I dont bow down to all things purple, just an observation. A “decent” club means average. I would consider the 4-4 Balitimore team very average

I think when you are 7-1…a lot of the teams you are playing are inferior.

    Otherwise you would be 4-4.

I’ll support that! And think of this. If Green Bay expects the likes of Cowher or Dungy to come and be their coach they better be prepared for those elite coaches to make one of the stipulations that TT is GONE! I can’t imagine for the life of me GB getting such an elite coach while still hanging onto that bug eyed rat.

    Easiest strength of schedule:
    1. Bears
    2. Queens
    3. Packers

The Queens are taking advantage of the schedule. The Bears and Packers, not so much.

Hope the packers carry a third quarterback on the roster for Cowboy game. What is the record for most sacks in a game? Bet the Boyz are thinking sack record.

The NFL record for sacks in a game is 12 and has been done 5 times:

    1) Dallas vs. Pittsburgh, Nov. 20, 1966
    2) St. Louis vs. Baltimore, Oct. 26, 1980
    3) Chicago vs. Detroit, Dec. 16, 1984
    4) Dallas vs. Houston, Sept. 29, 1985
    5) NY Giants vs. Philadelphia, Sept. 29, 2007

Good luck because WE know how Lord Favre plays in the playoffs. We watched it for all these years and his playoff record is not that great.
P.S. those superbowl appearances were 12 and 13 years ago before you throw that in.

His record is better then T-Jacks, Rogers ect. in the playoffs so as for now he is our best shot and I will take it. You can not have a shot at the title if you do not make the post season so for now I will not complain about anything one bit!

Funny how people forget that almost everytime Lord Favre left the field the Packers had the lead. But I guess He is still to blame for the losses…

Never said it didn’t. The difference, I guess, is that Favre has proven over time that he has a high probability to make yet another scoring drive late in the game. Rodgers hasn’t shown that ability just yet. For now no one “feels” like they can still win at any minute with Rodgers like they do with Favre. I’d imagine that is why Favre gets blamed for games lost instead of understanding that he had the lead when he left the field. Also in truth the QB obviously gets more credit than they deserve often times as well. There are other players, roughly 10, on the field at the same time that deserve some credit and or blame.

And 3 of Green Bays SB titles were from before color TV was in every home too, so quit throwing that in all the time!!

How do they rate strength of schedule, I think by last years records, which means nothing this year, dont know the pack and vikes rest of schedule but of the bears last eight games remaining, only 3 of them are against teams under .500 I’m thinking draft picks already

Congrats for actually talking about the thread.. The dismal Pack….(even if your going down memory lane again ) usually your just shooting from the hip/lips on how poor the Vikes are at 7-1….???

I agree big G the Vikings have beaten no one so far this year. There big game to date against a big team ended in defeat against Pittsburg, unless you want to buy into the 4-4 Ravens victory which took a miracle to pull out or 3-5 San Fran. We all know how terrible the Packers are, I mean they cant even beat a winless team and they couldn’t protect Fort Knox. The rest of there victory’s are against teams with a combined 3-21 record. Oh well you cant choose who you play. I’m looking forward to watching the playoffs more than I have in a few years. It should be fun

Funny, I seem to remember prior to the first Viking Packer game this year. All you Packer guy’s were making the Pack out to be better then the great Pittsburg Teams, better then the Patriots, heck listening to you guy’s they should just cancel the season and proclaim the Packers world champions.

Now when everybody in the country see’s how putrid they really are…………now it’s the Vikings weak schedule.

    You Packer fanatics are priceless.

is that not the same with every team? Besides tht Twins not sure of a lot of teams/clubs that consider not winning it all a success?

Having Favre as our qb playing the cheezeheads and beating them twice this year There is no way even (if we didnt win another game this season) that you could call this season a failure.
