Well guys, as we are well aware, it’s fall. Football, chili, facial hair, leaves changing color, and the outdoors. Aside from my beloved Hawkeyes having a heck of a year on the football field, the river has been equally yielding to me. I have found that our common spots have gotten quite tough to fish, so I have had to expand to some harder to get to locations. The results are quite impressive. My biggest thus far, in terms of length, has been a 28 incher, but I must say, I have caught some tanks as of late. The weight the fish are putting on now is intense. I have found this year that current seams still hold the fish and jigs and ringys are still the go to for me. I hope that the fall keeps getting better. Enjoy the photos, in one of them the weather wasn’t quite ideal, which I thought made for a nice photo, and what I mean by not ideal is 40 mph north winds and monsoon rains. Anyway, tight lines everyone!!

LOL… I love the name of your last image… For those that missed it, the last image is entitled “walleyecoldsob.jpg”.

Nice, too the point, yet descriptive and colorful.
