That is a beautiful 2.5 year old deer. He’s got real potential to be a trophy if he can somehow figure out how to survive another gun season.

You can’t shoot big bucks if you shoot the little ones with potential, but still nice to know where his haunts are at(for future hunts).

When you are hunting public land it is a first see first get. I kind of envy the guys hunting private land for that reason.

Sharkbait..I hear ya..but where Clarence is hunting is close to cities with 1 million + people. That is a good buck for public land…I would take him in a minute down here. I know the spot he is refering to, and it gets stomped pretty good. Hope you get a crack at him Clarence!

Maybe you need to offer up a trip swap or something to get a chance at a good one. Not trying to insult anyone, but easy to do when whitetail paradise is your back yard.

I’d gladly let anybody hang out here and chase a few of our deer around.Draw a unit 1 kansas bow permit and give me a call.Rifle season sucks so it’s not worth it.Everyone is chasing the deer with pickups then and it absolutely sucks.Already been on Mille Lacs with Chris and James.Had a blast with the kids there.
