That was a great comeback, but they are still leading a charmed existence. I am not so sure that they would have had the fortitude to come back if not for that horrible called TD overturn that would have put Indiana up 28-14 and given them all of the momentum. The ref was standing right there and called it a touchdown and there was absolutely no overwhelming evidence to overturn that call. Indiana then missed a chip shot field goal keeping the score 21-14. I have no real interest in this game, but I sure hate to see the refs possibly control the game outcome. The college officials have the replay system setup way better than the pros and they still get it wrong sometimes. The same thing happened in the Wisconsin/Purdue game where a clear catch and fumble was overturned by the replay officials. In this case, it did not matter much as the game outcome was never in question.

As we have been saying all year, a win is a win! Another crazy game but I’ll take it.

Every undefeated team, is always a charmed existence… every game until you lose your first.. every perfect game is until you have the first hit…

You can scrutinize every play, missed call, and momentum shifts…in all of sports. Bottom line, a W is a W…and they continue to win football games.

    Hawk Nation!

Even if they would have counted that as a touchdown, Hawks would have still won

Heart Attack Hawks!!! “I love it, I love it, I love it” as Jim Z always said.

Left going how did that happen but like Luke said a W is a W, just enjoy the ride. Gritty, gutty never say die attitude, I don’t think us IU fans would have it any other way . Go HAWKS!

Yeah, I know, if I hear one more time “They aren’t playing like a 6-0 team, then 7-0,,,now a 9-0 team i’m gonna puke. A W is a W, name me one team this year that couldn’t have, or shouldn’t have, lost a game!! You can’t, every team in the top 10 has had several close calls. This team is very resilient, plays like a team, and finds ways to win game, no matter how ugly the wins are.

BTW I was less then 20 feet from that Phantom touchdown and he did not drag his foot and his butt landed out on the white. Just because a Ref called it wrong doesn’t mean he’s correct, that’s whole point of replay.

Fortitude, I’d say our 4th quarter proves what a ridiculous statement that was. Had we won by a point or 2, then maybe the refs might have come into play in the decision of this game, but they didn’t. Crazy game, no doubt, but to say the Refs played any more of a part in deciding this game then any other is off base.

GO HAWKS!! Pasadena here we come, one game or the other!!!!
