Got a couple cans last week at O’Reily’s, almost $9.00 a can. The last time I thought it was closer to $4.00. Guess this is complaining but I have to think we are giving it a big boost on IDO. Lotsa free advertising. Probably just my memory.
While I’m on this rant, I use Mobil l oil, it also is going up in price. Can’t win I guess, don’t use the real stuff and the other goes up too. Over 4″ of rain here the last 2 days, weird weather.

Just bought a couple of cans at $6.50 ea. at farm & fleet. This is the problem when you get something that works and you like it. It either goes way up in price or the company goes belly up. But even at that price I’ll keep using it.

I’ve got an ’85 Merc 115 tower of power. To put a positive spin on it the 6.50 at Fleet Farm once a month save me the chance of having to replace the tower of power with an $8000 new Merc.

FF almost always has the best price on that stuff. Northern Power sells it cheap too.

Even at $8+ per can, it is a very cheap insurance. 8 bucks here and there is a drop in the bucket compared to even one repair bill.

Something you Seafoamers should consider (and I’m one of them) is that my experience indicates premium fuel also cleans your internals very well. If you compare cost it’s cheaper to run premuim than mix the tank with SF every time.
I aint saying. Im just saying…

It has definitely gone way up in price. They’re probably trying to make back the money donated to Concordia College for Sea Foam Stadium!

Yeah but the foam preserves! I’ve never heard anything about premium lasting the least bit longer & most outboards manuals say use 87.

I was thinking the same thing.
We, WSU, played them on there opening night of the Stadium. Nice place…we WON!

PS. I just bought some sea-foam last week and thought the same thing about the price!

Do not use it gummed up the carbs on my 4 wheeler and mower and snow blower, icky green deposit. A small engine maechanic that I know told me not use it and since I quit everything has been deposit free.

Anything over a small amount of Seafoam in a small quantity tank like a 4 wheeler has will create a residue. Did you keep the ratio specified of the can when you mixed it in your gas can? Or did you pour it into the tank? What are you using instead?

I have always used Stabil and had good luck with it. Do you guys think that Seafoam is better?
    Thanks, Bill

I used Stabil and has some problems. It’s been a long time since I switched to Sea Foam, that i don’t even recall the issues I had.

I guess I would really like to see the make up of both Sea Foam and Stabil- just to see if someone did a great marketing job on us or is on is actually better than the other.

I gotta agree with you. been running premium all year and I notice an improvement. I still throw a can of SF in from time to time.
