I’m a new member but I thought I would try and make a post. Hit rainy river last week and got a 28in walleye on a red jig with a large rainbow. Next we landed this 55 inch sturg that is always a bonus. Last we have the 35 in northern that hit a blue jig. I kept seeing a large mark on the depth finder about 10 feet down I lifted the jig up and bang he hit it. Fishing wasn’t as good as before but I will be up there in another couples of weeks and try it again.
The key for us were deep holes the deeper the holes the more fish seem to be in them, also changes jigs, the last day I changed every 20 minutes forcing me to get out of my rut and try something new. It paid off.

Very nice fish and welcome to the site. It’s always cool to see something on your electronics and then get em to hit a bait. First time I used a flasher on the ice it was like a video game.
