This pointer wandered into Everts today. Lost, tired and hungry. Sweetheart of a dog. The tail dock is somewhat longer than usual. Small wart like growth on the lower right eyelid. 40-45 lbs. 3-4 inch scrape on the right thigh.

Thanks for posting this Jon… I sure hope someone finds that poor guy! Either lost his collar or slipped his chain at home.

    What a sweetie.

I’ll bet Deano will be sharing cookies with the pooch by next week.

This dog is a VERY gentle dog. Nate’s daughter Makenzie [4 years old] went up to it petted it for awhile and the dog was so gentle. Somebodys missing a very kind dog. Sure hope its owner sees this post.
    Thanks, Bill

I’d get him to a vet and see if he has a “chip”.

I took this guy off Deans hands “for now” hope the owner claims him soon – I also posted an ad on craigslist’s lost & found. I will take him to the vet tmrw and see if he’s chipped. He’s pretty pooped out. My number is 612-877-2272 i’m sure he’s missed.

You’re making good points there. Wonder what tales he could tell?

We were commenting how nice a dog he was at the resort.

Thanks for taking the dog in, he sure was a mild mannered dog and I hope you find the owner.
Or worst case, a good home.

It was return to its rightful owner within the next week. I believe just a few days. Was about 5 miles from home if I remember correctly

Thanks, both the wife and I are dog lovers and were worried if the dog ever found a home or not.
    Good to hear.

It would have had a great home with Tony and Margie even if it didnt get back to the owners. But it did and the owners were very happy to get him back
