Just drove by a Thorne Brothers sign on HWY 65 in Blaine at about 105 ave. Are they moving? That would be great to have a quality tackle shop in the neighborhood.

Yes they are in the process of moving to Blaine…I believe they are remodeling an existing building. Right off HWY 65.

I thought they were moving at the end of September. Is the new store in Onamia open too?

Yes, Thorne Bros will be moving at the end of the month. We are in the process of fixing up the new building and tearing down the old one. The current location in Fridley will be open until the end of October and then once November rolls around our goal is to have the new location in Blaine open… so, we’re shooting for the beginning of November for our Grand Opening at the Blaine location.

    The new address is…

    10091 Central Ave NE
    Blaine, MN 55434

It’s right off of 101st. The first building north of the Dodge Dealership…

The main problem with the new location is they will no longer be on my way home from work

I work @ Mississippi and University so it’s easy to get to the current location.

The wife is quite appreciative though

The new location is definitely an upgrade from my point of view… Hwy 65 everyday.

I just have to remember to stow everything somewhere in the garage before I go into the house.
