Husky Jerks

    Fleet Farm has Husky Jerks on sale right now for $3.99. What size and color would you recomend for running 3-ways on the St. Croix and P3&4 this fall. The 12’s seemed like the ticket to me? Thanks!

    For 3 ways I stick to the 8s and 10s. The 12s are great for long lining shallow though.

    Can’t go wrong with that advice! However I would add Deep Husky’s in 12’s for long lining the Croix in the fall as well! This is one of if not my favorite Croix Fall presentation in Blue/silver or Tennesee Shad! I know the pic is not that clear…but you get the idea. I do not see Ten/Shad in their color lineup anymore…too bad! I still have a few going strong!

    The store in Brooklyn Park does not have much of the good standard colors for P4.

    Thanks for the help! That was a quick $50, but I should be stocked for a little while. The Hudson store still has some 10’s left, but the 8’s are pretty much gone.

    Check the one in Germantown, WI. Good selection still but some colors are already gone in the 8s and 12s. They are going fast. Got mine though.

    I think we cleaned out Osseo. That was one irritated check out girl.

    Just a suggestion for tweeking those Husky Jerks. The feathered EWG trebs by Gamakatsu make awesome modifications for those baits

    This spring I found a deal on Flicker shads at Fleet Farm. Turned out when I got to the register they had them miss marked. They called the manager on the phone to figure out what to do and he finally said he would give me the marked price but only on the ones I had in my cart. Then he added another %5 for finding there mistake but again only on the ones in my cart. Finely he asked home many I had and told him about 75. His reply was ouch. You do have to love Fleet Farm. The man store.
