I normally don’t fish lakes much during the year and almost never in the fall. Mostly a moving water guy. I’m going to a large lake in central WI. it’s got a nice population of pike, large and smallmouth bass and walleye. the slot for walleye on this body of water is a limit of fish with a 18″ minimum. i can motor troll so i can figure that out. looking for hints on the bass and pike. any body have any later season lake techniques they could share?

Rocky points and suckers for pike action. Find the bait and the fish are not too far away.

    Got Slop?

Work a black scum frog over, through, and near the lilly pads and slop to pick up on the bass.

heh-heh-heh bet I know what lake it is Right now we’re working spinners and worm rigs @ around 25′ for walleyes. Use just enough weight to get to depth, I use my Autopilot @ maybe .5-1.0mph. Stayed in today, winds are pretty ugly- – jerr
