Marcum’s flasher future

    I heard that Marcum sold to Nature Vision and they sold the Marcum product line to some company in Texas, name unknown?
    I also heard that they placed a lot of emphasis on the cameras and the flasher units have been ignored/neglected?
    Anyone else hear this?
    I became suspicious late last year when Marcum LX5’s were being sold for almost half price. Kind of like they were dumping or getting rid of their inventory.
    So, where does one send a Marcum flasher for service if needed?
    Hope Vexilar doesn’t have the last laugh.

    Marcum was recently purchased by a local Mpls based company called Versa Electronics. Versa has been a Mn based company for the past 50 yrs and actually has been involved with MarCum procducts over the past 3 years.

    If I would have 20/20 fore sight…I would have bought 20 of them at that price!

    Yeah, ain’t that the truth. I should have gotten at least two, maybe three more.

    No need to worry. Versa is located in the metro and is the company that has been making the flashers for the past 3 years. You can expect the same quality construction and now the company that has been responsible for the American Made quality you’ve grown to trust is now at the helm guiding the MarCum product line going forward. And I can promise you… they’re NOT ignoring the flashers in any way. There’s some big plans for the future.

    Versa will do a great job taking care of the customer and the units will be as great as normal.

    John Marshall is also employed now with Versa now and he will do the job he always has for the consumer.
