In light of WI offering Mercury Marine a “increased incentive package”, some tax payers in MN flipping part of the bill for the new OUTDOOR stadium…you know about 18 years ago we couldn’t have an outdoor stadium because of rain delays and too many double headers….And let’s not forget about the people coming from South Dakota to watch the game only to have it rained out…

I was wondering how much WI would give my family too keep me from moving into WI…stink bait and all?

Cougareye…you should be the first to kick in for keeping me in MN.

    Hey BK,
I think we just found a new use for an obsolete domed stadium. Won’t that dome protect the stink bait?

    Brian,

You already have one home in Wisconsin…. Just think of the possibilities. 1. You could use blue gills for bait. That would save you some time. 2. You could use 3 rods. 3. You’d have a decent football team to root for. 4. Our bridges don’t fall into the river. I could go on and on.

You would make more if you asked how much would MN families pay to have you move out.
    FW and FD can stay.

Since there was that zinger from IA…

I could play this smart. WI could pay me to stay away, MN would pay me to move out and IA…well ol’ Dave Horton would get use to the smell sooner or later.

Sonny’s comes from Iowa. They know their stink bait down there. My wife is from there and I think her brothers actually bathe in it (if they bathe at all). They live on the bank of the Mississippi freaking river and drive an hour to fish bluegills in a man made pond.

Sneaky BK! Try to lure me into a subject about pro sports stadiums using your stinky bait tank as the hook!!

Actually, the smell from your bait only goes so far, I don’t mind our governments giving concessions to business’s that benefit the local economies. What’s always chapped my is going to a place like Houston, and paying a stadium tax on a rental car I use for business.

At least WI saved several hundred jobs and it appears drew some away from Oklahoma. MN taxpayers footing the bill? What about the SD guy who comes in to watch the Twins, stays downtown, and has that extra 1/2 of 1% added to his food, hotel bills etc.

The bad part is the SD guy who comes in and pays that tax AND the game gets rained out.

    Dammit, you got me.

We don’t care where you move to…..just so long as it is away from here…….

I am sure WI feels about the same…….

I think you could just ride that train down the mississipi and end up with a comfy retirement by the time you run out of states……

    Just funnin ya b…..
