It’s official, just woke up from a post surgery nap back home. Had orthoscopic surgery to have bone fragments removed from my knee along with a microfracture procedure completed to repair the damage on my femur. Nothing caused by an accident, looks to be something from when my bones formed when I was younger. Stuck on crutches and rigid knee brace for 6 weeks, looking forward to getting through the intial pain phase and getting my rehabilitation underway. If all goes well, I should be back in the boat by November.

Looks like some quality time coming up on my favorite website.

Make sure you keep the TV remote close also. Good luck with the healing and rehab.

thanks for the wishes guys. been resting a lot. surgery took quite a bit out of me. it’s a bit overwhelming going from someone who is on the go 18+ hours a day to someone who is not allowed to leave his bed currently. tv isn’t really my gig unless it’s fishing or hunting, so I am getting ready to catch up on some reading. bad thing is every time i pick something up to read, i fall asleep due to the pain meds. haven’t got very far….
