Drove from Flying Cloud airport up 494 to Rogers at 5:30 tonight. How do you guy’s do it day after day? The way some of these people drive I would get locked up for assault if I had to do it daily.

Really, is common driving sense that hard to handle?

If your exit is 15 miles up the road travel in the center or left lane. Get the He11 out of the right lane. If you exit is coming up merge towards the right lane…….don’t cut across 2 lanes of traffic at the last minute.

Finally, if it’s your goal to drive 60 mph or less in the center or left lane please stay home or at work until 7 pm then have at it.

    Patience is a virtue I don’t have.

Tonight was a tough drive home…..I agree…Left downtown MPLS at 345 got to daycare in St.Michael at 5pm…. I am looking daily for something up north, to live the simple life…I have almost had it. That drive….Ish.. My dad had a 1 hour commute for 20 years, I now know why he took the pay cut to work closer to home.

im one of those 494 daily commuters.. i still dont know how to explain how people drive. you forgot to mention the random woman in her $80k caddy/beemer/benz that has to lock up her brakes because the person 8 car lengths in front of her slowed from 45 to 42 mph.

It’s fun Brian. I drive from Albertville to Minnetonka everyday. My wife commutes downtown. I can’t wait for the train to start running for her. Twice last winter she had 3 hour commutes home.

I personally go through phases. I get really pissy at times, then there are times where I just roll with it and realize I can’t make the idiots in Minnesota learn how to drive. No one knows how to merge into traffic, I swear. Don’t pull into 70mph traffic at 35. Flippin Volvo wagon almost got a whole bunch of Ford grill this morning. Luckily, I’m becoming very adapt at high speed maneuvers.

There was the day at I got watch a smoking hot blonde change in the drivers seat for the gym. I thought about getting out of the car and thanking her, but figured it would be weird…

I almost swung in. When you get to be my age you realize all these stores are the same, they just package and promote differently. The appeal of Cabela’s left me when they went on their expansion kick a few years ago. I will stop there maybe once a year. Usually I really try and get as much from the mom & pops as possible. They need my business alot more then Cabela’s does.

You guys are wusses! Imagine being in India for two weeks and wondering everyday if you were going to survive the trip from the hotel to the office and back. These pictures don’t do the traffic/drivers justice. Best advice if you ever head over, DON’T watch your driver drive!

City planners failed to plan for the current traffic levels and did not build enough roads. We are paying for it now. There should be twice as many lanes on just about every highway in the metro!
