I’ve always been a huge Simpsons fan, and little Ralphie Wiggum is one of my favorite characters.

Never did I imagine that people would think that’s my real name

Before joining the IDO Field Staff – my avatar name was “Grifter”. It’s a nick name that my college buddies gave me because we would play poker and I would win a lot. I would also screw with them and do a lot of card tricks. They say I’m a different person with a deck of cards in my hands. They eventually would not let me play anymore (they didn’t have any money left anyways ) and started calling me “Grifter”. It stuck and still carries on today.

When I was about 15 I was working on Dairy farm, we had a woodchuck living in a junk pile. Me and a buddy decided to trap it and I thought it might be a good idea to eat it. I was always tought that if your not going to eat it dont kill it by me pappy so…. All my friends started callinc me woodchuck and it eventually returned into Chuck. My Buisness cards say Mark Bruzek but everyone I work with calls me Chuck. So there are a lot of questions as to why they call me Chuck or Who is Mark? My boss is all too happy to cough up the embarising story. OR if you are my buddies wife, you think I got the name cuz the first time I met her we were shweelin on the Tequila bottle and ended up puking on her feet.

I used Mendotaeye because back when I became a member, I was just learning lake mendota and that was my total number of walleye I had caught there. One. It was about my fifth choice because everything else I tried was already used.

I rolled over in bed one night and looked at my cousin and said—OK only kidding.

Real story—in talking with city people over the years on many occasions they have said in one form or another ” You are a real redneck”. I thought about that and it became a badge of honor. I am a redneck—I eat what I kill—I say sir and ma’am and I hold the door for ladies—no matter what they look like.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it

Have been a Denver fan all the way back to the orange crush days. and also my moniker from “the common man” from way back when. so kind of self explanatory.

We all know about catch ‘n release.

Well, I got my moniker from the IDO Goose Hunt in Rochester 3yrs ago. A quick trigger dropped the goose, before anyone else had a chance. For the next 10 minutes, I proceeded to brag about that fantastic shot.

Soon, I was silenced by the dog chasing said goose through the decoys. Without hesitation, the goose took flight and proceeded to circle the field two times before disappearing over the horizon, never to be seen again.

    Hence, Shoot ‘n Release.

When I was in high school I was one of the biggest hunter/fisher in my grade and basically got it from Daniel Boone. So ever since high school “boone” has always been my nickname. And the 04 was the grade I graduated high school.

chomper was the name of the t-rex in land of the lost, my oldest son’s favorite show when he was just knee high. Brought home a chocolate lab puppy one day and asked him what we should name it, “chomper”. Shortened my handle to chomps, and my son is now taller than me!
