Anyone having reception trouble here in the cities? My XM keeps loosing signal every once in a while, and it is annoying!
It could be my antenna, but thought I’d check here first.

My Sirus will go out under a gas canopy or parking ramp other that it all good!
I recently had the same issue, since the merger, we are all on a different satellite. Called customer service, It took 20 min to reset my receiver, no problems since. This is a common problem with us XM people, Sirius users were only affected if they had an older receiver.
I’ve not had any issues recently. Right during the merger, I had some reception issues, but that only lasted a couple days. I’ve got Sirius.
I have the XM service for one reason and one reason only. To listen to the MLB station. Since Sirus got them the station just sucks. They bounced all the decent talent, now you just have the east coast lackeys.
Wish there was another satellite option.
i’ve contemplated getting xm/sirius for the truck/boat/home. with a deck that can docked in multiple devices.
what is everyone’s opinion the satellite radio? is it worth the 10-20 bucks a month?
I don’t listen to anything but Sat now. Well worth it for me. I spend and hour each way commuting and love the options I have.
Just a warning… if you have any doubts about wanting to pay the $ every month, do not get it…. once you do get it, you will be hooked and you will wonder how you ever got along without it. I think it must be like crack…. When I get into my old Durango and have to listen to “regular” radio… or even a CD, it sucks

I dunno I totally agree with that we’ve had it at work for a couple years between the 20 of us, only 2 people have it the rest (self included) could really care less. I can’t say I’d miss it, but I’ve heard you same side of the story from others.

No reception issues for me and I love my Sirius radio. I have in the boat, in the car, in the garage and in the house! I sound like Dr. Suess!
70’s, 80’s and Classic Vinyl for me! Great reception with an old unit in my Mercury, newer unit and crap reception in my Lincoln.
I have no morals so it is all about Howard Stern. When he is not on it is all about E Street Radio, Classic Vinyl and Rewind, and Lithium. Oh, and very soon it will be NFL football when out trolling.
