You don’t “lose” an anchor, you leave it behind. I didn’t lose a richtor on the MN river earlier this year, i know exactly where it is, and i have 20 bucks for whoever is willing to snorkel down and get it…

Shoot me some GPS coords and I might be tempted, Might not be to far from the one I had to cut off a couple weeks back. I got the gear, and it wouldn’t be the first one that I’ve gotten back…. though the river still has 4 of mine from over the years.
We need some SI images of an anchor on the bottom, now that’d be cool! I have a record this year, haven’t lost the one Dean got me this spring yet! That now typed, I’m sure I’ll be kissing it good bye this weekend, just how things go for me. Aren’t they made of lead too? And we’re worried about sinkers? Oh my, someone call the EPA!
Wish I was of more help for ya on that one. I did see it once on 2d sonar and once on the side imaging but was more concentrated on trying to hook the rope so i didnt get a screen shot of it. It did look kinda cool though.
Cheap insurance…unless it’s lost because it wasn’t tied on to the boat well.
that is why i always put one of these line floats on the end of my anchor lines, they are like 5 bucks at fleet farm. that way if my line comes off the boat, or if i have to undo my anchor line in a hurry, it will float the end of the rope.
