so i went out again for some smallies on mille lacs lake. mistake number one is that i absolutely suck at smallies on the pond. i know where they are and man do i see alot of them but they dont bite for me. BUT i take my girlfriends son out and once AGAIN he out fishes me. we only got one today but i am pretty happy he got it. look at the smile and tell me he is not hooked. I LOVE THIS SPORT!!!!!

a couple times a week i will get up about 4:30 and go out for just a couple hours before work. when i get home at about 8 he is already awake and wont even talk to me he is so mad i didnt take him. cant wait till he is old enough to sit in a deer stand with me.
Not that I met you when you were a toddler or anything but you were maybe 15 or 16, up on Red. It is good to hear of you bringing a kid out fishing, on the other hand it makes me feel older
