Stop in to the Bluff’s Bar and Grill around 6pm on Saturday and I’ll get Shooter to buy you a beer. Goes good with melted butter.
I’ll be manning the fort at Everts all day Saturday. Stop in if you have the time. I’ll have something broken to sell

Treasure Island casino is very close by. They also have a dinner cruise. There are some Ido’ers that recommend it often.

The Harbor Bar has good jamaican food and is right on the river. Generally they have live music on the weekend and since it’s outside it’s not too loud.

You are very knowledgable my friend! Thank you for the suggestions. It sounds like we will be down thursday night and have to be home saturday for family stuff. We are golfing Mississippi National on friday, but I think she will like the dinner cruise idea. Thanks man!

I hope you are playing the entire course there are some very cool holes that are on top of the bluff, greens on the edge of the bluff and par 3 from the top of the bluff to the bottom. You will be very happy with that course. Dont forget the scenery from atop Memorial Bluff Park which has a view that on a clear day I think you can see St.Paul. Then to make anyone’s trip to Red Wing the greatest a stop in to Everts is in order. Good Luck and enjoy the weekend

    OFF TOPIC!

We are playing the highlands course, I was told that is the one to see. I guess we will find out.

Especially the par 3 that drops about 180′ from the tee box…straight down!

Skineboy and I have/had been members there for many years. The Lows are a better for pure golf experience and the Highs are better for scenery and whatnot. Got some gimmicky holes we’re not fans of, but it’s a solid track, too.

You’re a winner either way. Not sure what kind of shape it’s in at the moment. I’ve only played there once and that was a couple months ago now. Good luck!

If your playing 18 holes, play the highlands and then the lowlands. (Rent a cart!)

Actually, the Highs are 18 and the Lows are 18 as well. If you play the Highs it’s a mandatory cart … with good cause!

If you saw the movie “Grumpier Old Men”, there is a scene where the couple is snowmobiling and then they stop and lookout over a scenic city and river overlook. They then exclaim “Ah! Wabasha”. That scene is atop Memorial bluff and the view is actually of Red Wing.
