If I could get a little help from the IDO community. The morning of the 28th I uncovered my at 0430 to go pre fishing for the charity tourn, and all my tackel was gone. Someone uncovered my boat grabed the tackel baox and recovered the boat. Well after a frantic search I called county PD and make a report. The box was a Ocachobby Fats bag, I live in the Quad City area (Barstow). I put in a claim with my insurance comp and valued it at $1400. If any one hears or sees something please let me know. I will look to see if I have any pics that it might be in. Thanks guys.

Sorry to hear of your loss
I wish people would work and pay for their own items instead of taking what is not their because it is easier, cheapier and faster.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I have no patience for people who take from others.

Make sure you check out craigslist for your items. If these lowlives are dumb enough to take something from others in the first place, chances are they are dumb enough to sell it on the internet.

Sorry to hear that. I’ve been ripped off a time or two myself and it sucks! Sucks real bad when you lose lures your Dad and Grandpa gave you as a kid. I hope it’s true that Hell reserves a special place for thieves.

I am very sorry to hear about your loss. As a fellow medic I know how much money we do not make. I hope your insurance company takes care of you. If they do not, let us know what company you use, so we will not use them. I also hope you can recover your tackle box.– Rob

People like that have caused me to always unload all my gear from my boat whenever it is parked outside. It is a royal pain in the but I have heard way too many stories about people getting their gear stolen.

Very sorry to hear you are now included in that group. Just once I would like to catch somebody in the act of ripping off somebody’s gear.

I wonder if this sticker would help deter future attempts?
