I have a ticket for Thursday. I spent a day there in 2002, what amazing golf shots these guys make.

It’s a whole different sound when they hit it compared to us weekend warriors.

You got that right. I golf with some 0-4 handicappers and they couldn’t hold a candle to these guys.

I/we would like to get there, but now my wife being a GM at a golf course things like that are a thing of the past.

I have two tickets for Monday and plan to go, but I am unsure on what to expect. Unfortunatley I don’t have a schedule that advises when things even begin to happen. Won’t the golfers just be arriving on Monday due to Sunday’s tournament?? I need to research this and find out when things begin out there……

I actually just secured 4 Wannaker tickets and onsite parking (which is a BIGGIE) for FREE for the Sunday championship round from work. Not too shabby!!!

I have four tickets to Monday that we are not going to use. On Monday, you’ll probably be able to get up close and personal with some of the guys and by the afternoon, most of the stars should at a minimum be on the range.

Send me a PM if you want the Monday tickets. You can have any or all of them.

If anybody has Thursday through Sunday tickets they would like to sell or get rid of send me a PM. I thought I had tickets lined up from a co-worker but that has fallen through. The course is only 5 minutes from my house so I want to go if I can.

It’s quite simple. Golf takes some coordination and the ability to think on your feet. That eliminates certain IDO staff members who tend to break a lot of stuff.

A friend is going up to it all week. He offered a ticket to me if I wanted to make the trip up there for a day or 2. I just can’t get away from work right now.

Nothing like a Sunday at the PGA……it was CRAZY in 2002. I was at 1 practice round and 3 tourney days…..Sunday was a TOTALLY different atmosphere than the first three rounds.

Guess it helps when its close and Tiger is in the mix.

I have Hazeltine Members Club tickets for Saturday with on-site parking. First, what would be the best way to get down there (coming from the northern burbs)…I imagine it’s a zoo anywhere near the course. And second, anyone know what the members club tickets get you? I’m guessing there’s access to a special tent of some sort?

i would take 694 to hwy 212 to 41 and head north to the course. i know they are closing a couple of the backroads around hazeltine (pioneer ave for sure) for the tournament. but 41 will be open. theres a few businesses along 41 that are offering event parking next week for $20/day.

i know its not much, but it should at least get you there.

If you are going on Thursday you will want to get there early. They just announced some of the pairings.

    8:35 a.m.
    Padraig Harrington
    Rich Beam
    Tiger Woods

This sounds like a great group to follow!

Went to the practice round yesterday. Each pro had one or two guys besides his caddie pacing off distances around the green. How long, wide, and from front of green to start of and end of the sand traps. They must make a blueprint of each hole. Also saw them checking distances from the green back to the tee with range finders. Thanks Cougereye

It’s pretty amazing when those guys are “ON”. They want to know if it’s 153 or 154 to the pin. I’m just happy knowing I’m within 10 yards. Not like I know if I’m gonna hit it 150 or 160 with the same club & swing 80 times.

I have 4 Wanamaker tickets to Sunday’s championship round and an onsite parking pass (Lot W). I’m thinking of selling ’em, so if you’re interested shoot me a PM and we can talk!

    Word.
