Hwy 169 Aitken – Bridge over Mississippi

    Anyone go over the Mississippi river bridge on 169 just north of Aitken recently? Hows to water level? Thanks in advance!

    Sorry, I haven’t been up there since the 4th, but didn’t they get about 6 inches of rain a little over a week and a half ago through that area?

    Yea, saw that. Just wondering if it is a flooded mess. Oh well…we will be there early Sat to find out!

    Jon, I just crossed over the bridge this afternoon and the water seems a bit high for this time of year. The level should be dropping because the Dam’s here in Grand Rapids are not allowing much flow. Talked to my nephew who was on the river this last Friday and he said the water was very muddy, more than usual.
