boundary waters with big motor on boat?

    How does the 25hp rule work up there? Can you motor up to the line then use a kicker to go the rest of the way on lakes that split the line?

    i think you can not have more than 25 hp period.no using a big motor and then going to a kicker.

    you can not have any motor bigger than a 25 horse. watch the regs carefully because there are a few lakes in which you can use any size motor on a part of the lake and the other part has a size restriction. where are you heading up out of?
