    Thanks guys!

I’ll put up a recap later today, once I get my feet back underneath me. Sully is due back today, and I’m sure we’ll hear from him as well.

In the meanwhile, here’s a picture of us while we were waiting for our checks to get cut

Here’s a pic of Sully working the program on game day. Sully’s co-angler was Doug Chapman, who was actually my co-angler at FLW-Red Wing this season.

Congrats guys!!! That was one tough bite!!! You beat some pretty darned big local names to post up those nice finishes!!! I came back to Hastings to fish where there were actually walleyes to be caught only to be greeted by a big bug hatch here as well!

    Congrats again guys!!!

    Thanks guys!

It was a challenge this past week to keep focus with such a tough bite in our boat. My boat saw 4 walleyes pre-fishing for 36 hours with two people. That is SLOW.

I had an awesome co-angler, Doug Chapman. He was very skilled and provided good company in the boat. Using Doug’s “point system” I ended the day -10 points. I kept receiving demerits for catching happenstance northerns. I tried to shake one off and got docked further.

    I won’t steal Jason’s thunder in revealing details. I know he’s going to post a re-cap.

IDO member Dave Vollmer helped me pre-fish this week. Thanks for all your help, Dave.

In the walleye tournament world, individual results are rarely a product of individual efforts. Yesterday was no different for me. There is no way I can fully thank Jason Halfen for his considerable assistance this year. In September there will be 120 co-anglers hoping their name follows Jason Halfen’s name when pairings are announced.
