DOES THIS LURE WORK FOR SAUGER OR WALLEYE ON THE MISSISSIPPI? WHAT ARE SOME TIPS FOR USING THIS LURE? IS A SINGLE HOOK BETTER THAN A TREBLE HOOK ON THIS LURE?

December 25, 2003 at 6:36 pm #286483Yes, Swedish Pimples work well for walleyes and sauger on the Miss. Have I caught fish on them? Nope, I have a couple of them and have no luck whatsoever. The guys I see using them, tip them with minnow heads and waxies and they all use treble hooks on them. Hopefully this helps you on your way!
December 25, 2003 at 6:47 pm #286484I have used pimples through the ice on Lake Pepin. They work well on the saugers. I use trebles and tip them with a minnow head.
