    Everyone,

I spent hours packing our boat for vacation to Leech Lake for a week and last night someone stole our 2003 18.5 ft Crestliner Fishhawk, black with Khaki, 2003 model, Yamaha 115 4-stroke. It has a Lowrance LCX 17M Ram mount, Minnkota 80 thrust on front, Karavan Trailer, pretty common Fishawk color scheme and trailer, but it stands out as There are smallmouth and Largemouth stickers on all sides, and a big one on the driver side of boat and on back of boat. There is a G-loomis logo/sticker in Red/White/Blue on passenger windshield, and a Jimmy D’s River Bugs sticker on Driver’s windshield. The cover/step on boat passenger side, (car, driver’s side) will be pretty damaged as they smashed it against a tree when they drug it out of my driveway and the light was ripped off! I had 2 carrot stix rods with $100 reels on both, 2 G-Loomis Bronzebacks at $250 a piece with $150 Diawa Reel on one and a $100 prodigy reel on the other, 1 Lamiglass 7ft crankbait rod $150 rod, $150 old style curado reel, 6.6ft St. Croix casting rod with same Curado, Spider wire rod/reel baitcast set up, both my son and daughter’s ugly sticks, plus every single piece of tackle, leatherman’s tools, knifes, fishing licenses, tons of rapalas, spinner baits, etc. I do not have one piece of fishing equipment that wasn’t in that boat. Kids bikes, 5 yr old boy Black/Silver/Red looks like a dirtbike/motocross looking thing, all our golf clubs, suitcase full of my son’s and daughter’s clothes…. I could go on and on but PLEASE when your at the landings and on the lakes around the state like i was going to be, please look at trailers in the lots and boats on water for what I am missing and call 911 and then me on my cell phone 763-258-4615.

I appreciate it greatly as I have lost a great deal here!!!

I’m sorry to hear of your loss. If you have a photo or two of your boat, please post those photos. A picture is worth a thousand words and will go a long way to helping people ID you rig.

If you have any issues posting those pics just email them to [email protected] and I’ll make sure I can get them here online.

Again, I’m sorry to hear this happened to you and your family.

Jeeez. Hope you had good records for the insuranc. Can’t believe someone would resort to that. Going to update my list of what I own, have been hearing a lot of theft stories lately, but the whole boat. I know what I would have been doing….

It seems impossible that someone would get away with stealing a boat. Im certain you will be reunited with it soon…

Boy, that really sucks ! Sorry to hear about your loss.
We’ll all be looking. This site has alot of people on it that cover a HUGE area.
Keep in mind guys, these low-lifes probably have those stickers peeled off by now, etc. I can’t imagine they would be dumb enough to use it on the busiest water week end of the year, but they probably will.
    To: Whoever stole the boat,
You can run, but you can’t hide from a bunch of PO’d outdoorsman and women.

That really sucks, I can’t believe that people would do this. Know that you have many eyes on the road and water here, let’s find these guys and put the them in jail. Or worse.

wow that really sucks, I’m probably to far away but will keep my eyes peeled, I would also keep an eye on area classifieds… craigslist… etc, as they may just be looking to turn it for cash versus actually using it.

I’m worried with the state of this nation, that this kind of stuff is going to be the norm. Sad day when you have to fight to keep what is yours! Sorry to hear about your ordeal, hope they catch these low life’s and you get you stuff back.
