I’ve had bad luck with it. Atfer 2-3 weeks it turns white on me, at that point…it seems to break down. No more abrasion resistance, and won’t hold a not for ….! P-line has been great so far, if you can get past the memory. I recently got some XPS, and that stuff seems really good so far, but haven’t used it enough to judge fairly. Trying Gamma as well, getting that tomorrow, heard good things about it.
I finally settled on Seaguar Carbon Pro in 15# for many applications. I found Seaguar to be one of the originators of Flouro and in my eyes, had the longest time to perfect it. I have been using it for 3 years now with limited complaints (less than the others I have tried).
I have tried the 100% several different times now and overall I’m not a big fan of it. I do however like the gold colored Vanish. I have tried most all of the various Fluro’s out there and have not found any of them that will last very long on spinning Reels. Just way to much memory. I like the tint to the Gold colored vanish as it great for watching the line at the point it enters the water. Really easy to see it move to the side or Jump when a fish bites.
Well i spooled my spinning rod up w/ the 100% and it is pure crap It unspooled on me twice of sure, maybe three times and there was no way of getting that rats nest undone You guys would probably know more than me about flouro on spinning reels and i don’t know if flouro is a pain on them but i am switching again!! Good thing i spent 20 dollars on 200 yards
The only stuff I’ve found that I like on spinning reels is Seaguar Invisix and Sunline Sniper. The Sunline is $$ though.
I use Sugoi most of the time on baitcasters, but I like Seaguar too. I think the Gold Box Trilene is OK, not a as good as Seaguar or the expensive lines, but better than most others I have used on baitcasters.
