Is it just me or does it seem like the Wild took a back seat on the first day of free agency?
We’ve been saying the past few weeks that we had the cap space to add a legitimate scoring threat, and from what it sounds like, we didn’t even make a move today.
All the top tier forwards such as Camarreli, Gaborik, Gomez, Heatley, Hossa and the Sedin sisters have all found a home and we didnt get in on the action like we said we would.
Out of the top tier forwards, only one left on free agency is Martin Havlat.
Maybe I’m jumping the gun here but I would like to see us make a move here soon!
What do you guys think?
IMO, we either pick up Havlat, or deal Harding to Columbus in a package deal for Rick Nash. If we cannot get the scoring threats we desired, then we should do our best to strengthen our Defense and make a play for Scudari.
