How do I get the squirrels to stop eating my plastic flower pots – and the wires to the deck lights – and the covers to the electrical boxes???? Can’t shoot ’em – the neighbors will tattle. I’ve tried the stinky granules – didn’t bother them a bit. This is not good for an old lady’s blood pressure.

Got the dog – but he’s dumb. And a cat – he’s fat.

You could use some of bk’s stinkbait.Or you could try some shock therapy with an electric fencer (solar powered-no cord for them to chew on).

Just found this “recipe” for squirrel poison – Do you think this would work?:::
Combine 1 cup of flour & 1 cup of sugar in a large bowl. Mix these ingredients thoroughly. Add 1 cup of baking soda & mix again. Mix until the powder looks uniform color & texture. Pour equal amounts of this mixture into small plastic bowls. Place the bowls in & around the areas that you are having squirrel problems. Allow these bowls to remain there for several weeks or until they are empty. Replace tipped over or empty bowls whenever it is needed. It’s supposed to kill the squirrels, but is not toxic for humans or other mammals ???

    LIVE TRAP & PELLET GUN ! ! !

If you get a black one, I want it. Just toss it in a bag and freeze it. (PM me and I’ll come get it.)

Also you can try to wax the pots and wires with habenaro(sp) peppers, but don’t get any on you. Unless this happens to be a very ‘southern’ squirrel!

Well, I’ve talked myself out of using the d-con I bought, so I’ll go for the hot peppers and maybe the flour/sugar/soda thing, too. I love the catapult, but I don’t think my neighbor would appreciate having squirrel guts splattered all over their house.

I had pretty good luck with a paintball gun…quiet…and after a while you know which squirrels are the troublemakers…they don’t come round here no more !

220 Volts AC instead of low voltage wires. Look for the squirrel with no hair. He should be laying close by smoking.

I have heard that big cat poop will scare rodents away. With that in mind I would guess that they will start visiting your neighbors to vandalize their property.

I would not know how to find it but, I guess I might start at the local zoo. Just break it up in various areas in your yard, flower beds, under bushes, and around trees.

Live Trap or a Pellet gun are the solutions! If live trapping you can relocate the Animals if that makes you feel better!

Paintball gun has kept them out of my yard all year. Works good on the neighbors also!

Just put a cot on the porch for Brian to sleep on. He fishes at night and squirrels are active during the day. As long as he doesn’t wash off the stink bait, nothing will come on the porch.

Bring a can of mushroom soup with them, and they can join some of their friends in the crock pot.
