    Blah, Blah, Blah….

At 10% unemployment and falling home prices, we are still a ways off. However, don’t think for a minute that inflation is not the way out of this housing mess.

House prices go up and we are out of this housing induced recession.

The problem with the stimulus is that it was poorly thought out, poorly executed and nobody gave a thought how the 0-18 year olds are going to pay for it.

Just borrow more, that will help. Seems like this is the behavior that drove us to where the economy is.

I think GD has hit the nail on the head, although he could have taken it one step further in my mind.

The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of people to take from.

Just keep watching, the socialist democrats will ram everything they can down our throats within the next year, as they know it will only help them in the long run with the entitlement crowd who expects the government to solve all their problems. They know once in place, it is almost impossible to get rid of a government program.

Here is a letter I am sending to my congressman about “THE CHANGE” we will pay for as it relates to Clean Fuel / Green Energy Policy.

Welcome to the land of BIG Government and Big Brother all over you. How do you like this “change”? It is all carefully veiled in various bills set out to CHANGE and HELP us. Careful.

    > You will soon be voting
    > on the American Clean Energy and Security Act
    > of 2009, otherwise known as the
    > Waxman-Markey cap-and-trade bill. I
    > urge you to oppose this bill and
    > the dramatic increases in energy costs
    > and the government’s control over my
    > daily life that it would impose!
    >
    > This cap-and-trade plan aims to limit
    > greenhouse gas emissions, but
    > I’ve read that even with the 83 percent
    > reduction in such emissions
    > envisioned by 2050, we will achieve just two
    > years of avoided global
    > warming.
    >
    > What this plan really will do is
    > place severe regulatory burdens on
    > domestic industry that will ultimately
    > drive up the prices I pay for
    > electricity, gasoline, natural gas, and
    > virtually every product I
    > purchase that uses fossil fuels in its manufacture
    > or transportation.
    >
    > The Heritage Foundation has estimated this
    > cap-and-trade tax could
    > increase my family’s energy bill by $1,500
    > annually!
    >
    > What’s more, the Waxman-Markey bill will hit me not
    > only as a
    > consumer,
    > but as a taxpayer, as it significantly grows the size and
    > cost
    > of
    > government. By requiring the Environmental Protection
    > Agency
    > to
    > establish a greenhouse gas (GHG) registry, create a GHG
    > emission
    > allowance transfer system, and set emission allowances from
    >
    > 2012-2050,
    > this cap-and-trade scheme empowers bureaucrats to dictate
    > virtually
    > every aspect of commercial and individual energy
    > use.
    > It also opens
    > the door to the potential for political manipulation and
    > corruption.
    >
    > I see very little environmental pay-off for the enormous
    > costs this
    > bill will impose on my family, American businesses, and our
    >
    > economy.
    > Again, I urge you to reject the Waxman-Markey cap-and-trade
    >
    > bill.

Just wait till the Credit Card bill shows up for the spending spree this administrations been on. The Carter IOU’s have nothing on these clowns. Keeping Social Security afloat and keeping our homes will be the least of our worries in another 5 to 10 years. Let’s just pray we have somone with a brain in office once the stuff hits the fan.

I share the same concern. How do you pump 2 trillion dollars of make believe money into the economy and NOT trigger hyper-inflation? Apparently there’s much smarter people in charge that understand this type of thing.

Wait until they “fix” our medical system. That will be a treat.

We are leaving a huge bill for the children of the next generation. So, how is my 6 month old going to afford to take me fishing when I am 70?

    Damn this is very disturbing.
