When laying on it’s side, it looks heavier than 10lbs. I gotta get back up there. That is such a fun fishery!! Throw in an occasional ski/pike and the trees are a fun place to be!!
Other highlights were the first “walleye” spot we tried my wife pulled in a 33-34″ norhtern that went about 9-10lbs and a 31″ that went 8-9lbs. She had a blast fighting them, I used the same pole but with a different colored jig on the big eye that I got. We caught a lot of fish but most were smaller but the good eating size. I had my mom and wife with so I stuck with bobber fishing for them so that we had plenty of action. Never had much of a chance to troll or toss cranks. Next time.
