Looking for a recommendation for a family outing on the pond. Small group but ranging from 7 – 77.

as for boat launches i would go with isle, cove,or the 1 by the casino. depending on where you plan on fishing there is launches all around the pond. as far as launches go cant realy help you on that 1. ive only been out on eddys and they were very accomidating and nice people. they put us on fish all day. we hit the morning launch and caught some nice eyes, then hit the afternoon launch and the eyes werent biting so the capt. moved in shallower onto a weed line and got us on the perch, then hit the night 1 and it was lights out. limits all over the boat with a bunch of big fish mixed in as well…..

I hear the Wealthwood access on the North is still pretty shallow. I havn’t been there so I can only tell you what I’ve heard. The Isle Public Access is very nice. Still, you need to keep your motor up. There is a huge rock on the outside of the turn in the channel. It should be deep enough where you don’t have to worry about it though.

As far as fishing launches, I highly reccommend the people, captains, food, and fishing off of one of Nitti’s Hunter’s Point Resort. They will work hard to put you on fish. If you read some of their recent reports, it sounds like they are really hitting them hard. Good luck!

Fischers in the NE corner near Malmo will cater to larger groups and can put you on fish.
