My wife is looking for a part-time job and would like to consider one that is home based, or online. Whats out there???
Anyone work or have expirience with online jobs? or home based? good sites or companies to look into? type of work?

    Thanks,

Watch out for what she signs up for. There was a news story not long ago that said 80% of them work at home “deals” you see online and in news papers are scams .

There are some that are inbound call for customer service, they are kind of a wierd setup, but they pay ok, the problem we have is screaming kids, that apparently will get you let go ( I can understand that). The one company I know is reputable is West at home (Im pretty sure thats the name)…

Right now my wife is unemployed and we haven’t been able to find a job for her, it’s hard to find a work at home job that someone can do with kids and without sales….

a lot of them sound real good, but the best bet is to find sonething someone you personnally know has done and works as there are many that are more time consuming at home. A gal I know did this in the past and it was stuffing envelopes and getting paid off of how many she stuffed and then she got paid on ones that were returned by the pepole and such so she got a little that she was told one thing then when she got her paperwork and such it was different.

My sister has been doing medical transcription for a while now. It takes some time and dedication to get certified, but once you are it’s steady work. She has worked for some good, some not so good companies. She does have the luxury of being able to walk away at any time which helps “position” her for better money/hours etc… You can make pretty good money if you are able to type fast of course with no mistakes. It’s not a job for Bk or Lip Ripper!!

Thanks for the input, I don’t think she’s the ttranscription type. Sounds like it’s pretty limited.

If she is good with kids a home daycare can be profitable.
