When I had six bait tanks to clean I used a cloth wet in a weak bleach solution dipped in salt for an abrasive. worked good and was safe for the minnows. No reason it wouldn’t work for livewells [1 table spoon bleach per gal water]

IOSSO. It works great for bait wells, deoderizes, removes stains, biodegradable, non-toxic and has no chlorine.

All I ever use is water. I wash and dry them out after every use. My boat is almost 3 years old and the livewells still smell new.

Dish soap, hot water & a scrub brush to get in-between the ribs in the live well. Then finish with a plain old dish rag. Rinse with the hose & your done!
